I'd like to say that this firesteel kit is paragon of art and craftsmanship combined. Plenty of thought has gone into the design and organization of the pouch. The char cloth is ready cut into single use pieces and stored within a small black tin that can be placed within an internal pocket in the pouch. The steel striker also fits within its own pocket. The belt loop can be fastened to the kit with brass rivets. The shoulder strap is adjustable to a length of about 130 centimeters. Aesthetically, the pouch has the appearance of a something like a cavalry pouch. The lines are clean and the finish is smooth. The pouch is designed to be of an efficient weight so as not to hinder the wearer in any way. The quality control is great and the attention to detail high.
