ProductFiresteel No. 6 (Finnish), Flint and Steel Kit No. 8.3, Flint and Steel Kit No. 4.2, Flint and Steel Kit No. 06

Bought and rebought from Mikhail, I am convinced you make the best flint & steel kits!
Last outing I used a kit from another source...almost useless! I managed a glowing amber, but 2 of the younger guys did not. However, my son carried the Russian Flint & Steel kit I gave him: the 2 guys managed to make sparks and noticed a huge quality compared to the other kit, and our instructor also tried and agreed the Russian kit was much better. Since then I bought some more: 2 neck-knife strikers, 2 "french" models, another leather pouch (similar to the one I usually carry) and a bigger one to use from the shoulder.
I forbid my son from using any other mean to make fire from other makers unless he carries the "Russian Kit" and the same applies to me: "normal" kit + neckknife striker or "french model" stryker in a pocket!!! No Bic lighters, no ferrorods, no storm-matches...just Russian Flint&Steel kits.
From Portugal, a big hug from a fellow bushcrafter to my friends of Flint&Steel in S. Petersbourg!

Sergei,
